Artist’s note: “I’m concluding two months residency at the Brooklyn Schoolhouse art collective. On the 21st of July, I will show the works I have made in my time here.
The exhibition is titled, “What Do You See When You Close Your Eyes” - It is the question that I have focused on after the experience of being told I would go blind.
I was lucky and so are we. This experience made me realize that each of us has a history beneath our eyelids, which waters us to stand firmly on the barren land. I hope this exhibition can give you that experience.”
